SECOND BOSTON MARATHON BOMBER CAPTURED

The Boston Police has finally apprehended the second member of the suspected Boston Marathon bombers. The 19 year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was apphrended by the Boston Police Department after surrounding a boat stored behind a home in Watertown, a short distance from where he was last seen. The Police had previously engaged the brothers in a firefight, in which one police officer and one of the brothers was killed, and the younger Dzhokhar is believed to have fled from with injuries.

The Tsarnaev brothers of Chechen origin, and were born in Chechnya before emigrating to the USA in 2001. Tamerlan, 26, was an accomplished boxer, with a wife and child. Dzhokhar was a wrestler at Cambridge’s public high school, who went on to attend the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. The reasons for the bombing remains unknown to authorities, however the older Tamerlan had been questioned by the FBI in 2009 over his interest in radical Islamic teachings on the request of an unnamed foreign government which suspected him of having ties to a terrorist organization. But the FBI was unable to find any evidence pointing to that.
