FAN REVIEW: 2 CHAINZ - B.O.A.T.S II: ME TIME

By

Reviewing a 2 Chainz's album is kinda hard to do. With 2 Chainz you ain't really expecting a lyrical masterpiece like what you would expect from a Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem or J. Cole. 2 Chainz is not a rapper's rapper and he makes no pretension towards that as he continues swaps out mind boggling lines for entertaining verses which ranges from amusing, ignorantly funny, to downright stupid lines (stupid in a good way).
B.O.A.T.S II: ME TIME might not win any grammies but it's hard not to like. The choice of beats and production on Tity Boi's Sophomore album is just a stroke of masterpiece (coming from Big Sean's Hall of Fame which had poor choices in both the beats and choruses)
The collaborations were on point, featured acts like Pharrell Williams, Fergie, Drake, Lil Wayne, Pusha T, Mase, Chrisette Michele, Iamsu!, T-Pain, Dolla Boy, Rich Homie Quan, and Lloyd really added to the overall feel of the album.

My Favourite tracks on the album would be Feds watching, Where U Been, Netflix, Beautiful Pain, Black Unicorn, Outroduction, Employee of the month, Livin

Memorable Lines
Her a*s so big it look like she trying to walk backwards (Mainstream Ratchet)
Bought a new crib just to f**k u in (Where U been)
If you look at my pocket, you are a weight watcher (Outroduction)

Overall, B.O.A.T.S II: ME TIME is a solid album and attains an easy rank of 3 pot of 5.
