THE HTC ONE M9 UNVEILED

By

HTC has just unveiled their latest flagship device the HTC One (M9) at the Mobile World Congress 2015.  The newly unveiled One (M9) shares a similar design with last year's One (M8) with the only changes being external changes being the Camera.  This year's One (M9) swaps the dual  back camera setup found for a 20 MegaPixel camera, and while the front camera sees an upgrade to a 4 MegaPixel UltraPixel.

The HTC One (M9) gets some specs bump with a 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor running at 2Ghz powering the device using Arm's BIG.Little configuration. The available RAM has also been upgraded to a 3GB, with 32GB of internal memory with can be expanded via the microSD card slot. The display remains the same as last year's model.

I think HTC missed an opportunity to improve their brand by sticking with their previous design in its entirety. Most fans of HTC's metallic unibody design weren't too pleased with the presence of the black band around the screen, HTC should have worked on getting rid of that and perhaps add in a finger print scanner just like the one found on the Apple iPhone.

The rest of the specs of the HTC One M9 are below.
