RANGE ROVER IS MAKING A CAR YOU CAN DRIVE WITH YOUR PHONE

By

Being able to drive a car using nothing but your phone is one thing that most fans of James Bond would surely remember. The smartphone (Ericsson JB988) driven BMW 750iL in Tomorrow Never Dies, was probably the highlight of Pierce Brosnan's James Bond.

Well thanks to the chaps at Land Rover, every owner of Range Rover would soon be able to relive some of the excitement of driving a car via your smartphone. The remote control feature as of now is restricted as it requires the driver to be within 10m of the car and the speed of car is also capped at 4mph, which means that you wouldn't be using this feature to elude capture from your mortal enemies. The remote control is part of Range Rover Park Assist.
