Apple IPad Pro unveiled... What you need to know about it

Apple today announced the newest and biggest member of its iPad family, the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro which sports a 2732 x 2048 pixels 12.9 inch display is powered by the A9X 64-bit processor "which offer users desktop class performance". The increase in the display size of the iPad Pro is necessary in order to take advantage of the split view feature of the iOS 9. The A9X would mark a major improvement over the A8X processor with twice the memory bandwidth and disk performance.

The IPad Pro is marketed as a productivity tool and would come with accessories such as a detachable keyboard and the Apple pencil, a stylus.
The rest of the IPad Pro specs includes TouchID, 4 stereo speakers, 8MP iSight camera and a battery that is rated last up to 10 hours all packed in a 6.9mm aluminium body which weighs 1.57 pounds.
The iPad Pro would be available in space grey, silver and gold, and as usual WiFi and LTE models. The pricing would start at $799 for the 32GB version, $949 for the 64GB version and $1079 for the 128GB version with WiFi and LTE. As for the accessories the smart keyboard would retail at $169, and $99 for the Apple Pencil.
