ANDROID WEAR TO GET CELLULAR SUPPORT AND VOICE CALLING

Android Wear smart watches are about to get finally useful as Google is set to add cellular support. The update will allow users with compatible Android Wear device to use their smart watches to make voice calls and access cellular data. This update will reduce the dependency of smart watches on smartphones, allowing the devices to function without it.

The LG G Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE will be the first Android smartwatch to support cellular data and voice calling. The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE sports a round 1.38 inch 480 x 480 pixel P-OLED display, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB storage memory, Bluetooth, wifi, LTE, Heart rate sensor and powered by a 570mAh battery. The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is IP67 certified making it both water and dust resistance. The LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE will be available for purchase on by US users on both AT&T and Verizon, International availability will be coming in a few months.
