Samsung Galaxy J7(2016) and Galaxy J5 (2016) goes live in China

After months on the rumour mill, The 2016 versions of Samsung's midrange Galaxy J-series offerings have broken covered and are now official.

The more powerful of the two, the Galaxy J7 (2016)  sports a 5.5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory expandable via a microSD slot and is powered by a 3300mAh battery.

The Galaxy J5 (2016) sports a slightly smaller 5.2 inch HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory also expandable via a microSD slot and is powered by a 3100mAh battery.

The both devices have a full metal body, a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front selfie camera, Dual SIM support, LTE support and NFC for Samsung Pay and other contactless pay solutions. 

The availability of the Galaxy J7 and J5 are currently limited to the Chinese market and pricing is yet to be unveiled.
