Opera Browser for PC gains Free Integrated VPN

By

The guys behind the Opera Browser for PC has just announced the addition of a free VPN to the developer version of their app.

This move would allow users enjoy the benefits of running a VPN such as maintain their anonymity, access geo-restricted entertainment and news content, etc at no cost. This puts Opera Browser heads and shoulders above other web browsers which requires its users not only to download a third-party extension but also to pay a subscription cost.

The VPN feature can be activated from the Settings and Privacy sections in the Settings menu for Windows and Linux users while Mac users can do so from the Preferences section of the Opera menu. The Integrated VPN is currently only available to those who have the latest Opera 38 develper version installed.

Besides the Integrated VPN, Opera users can now play YouTube and web video in a popup window, an improved ad blocker ( which allows you to blacklist ads on certain websites), personalise your browser by using your photo as a theme.

The Popup player is one of my best new feature on the Opera Browser, come handy when you have to multitask which is something i find myself doing a lot.
