Twitter for Android Material Design begins rolling out to more Beta channel users

By
Twitter has started rolling out its redesigned Twitter for Android app to more users on their beta test channel for their app. The redesigned app adopts the Google material design cues, which I have got to say not only looks better but makes it easier to interact with the app.

The redesigned app has three main tabs, at least for me (should be four but I've got access to the Moments feature), the home TimeLine, Notifications and direct message which are all accessible by swiping.

There's also a slide-out menu which can be accessed by swiping left to right from the edge of the screen or tapping on your profile picture. The slide out menu has got options for Profile, Lists, Connect, Highlights, Settings among others.

Overall I think the redesigned app not looks better but it also functions better than the old design.
