I installed the leaked Lollipop ROM on my Galaxy Note 3 about two weeks and it has been a rather smooth experience considering that the ROM isn't final yet.

Lollipop looks a lot better than Ice Cream sandwich and its derivatives such as Jellybean and KitKat. The animations within apps such as this one in the Twitter app belows looks really great.
Touchwiz in Lollipop is a smoother than KitKat  and uses less resources on average i have about 1.4GB free almost every time with all my apps running. Lollipop keeps apps in alive better than KitKat allowing for faster relaunches.

The battery life isn't as good as Kitkat but considering that this is an early build it isn't all that bad. The SD card write restriction has been lifted with some restrictions, you need to give the app access to the SD card however the apps need to be rewritten to take advantage of this. A large number of the apps i use have not be rewritten to take advantage of this.
