Samsung announces the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 smartphones in China
Samsung just announced the two new additions to its Galaxy C-series, the Galaxy C5 and the Galaxy C7.
The Galaxy C5 which sports an all metal body with a thickness of just 6.7mm. It packs a 5.2 inch 1080 Super AMOLED display is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 4GB RAM and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Other specs includes a 16MP back camera with LED flash, an 8MP front facing camera, a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, NFC with Samsung Pay, dual SIM support, an option of 32GB/64GB internal memory expandable via a microSD slot and a 2600mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 support.
The Galaxy C5 comes in an option of Gold, Pink Gold, Silver and Grey colours. The Galaxy C5 would be priced at 2199 yuan (US$ 335 / Rs. 22,520) for the 32GB version and 2399 yuan(US$ 366 / Rs. 24,555) for the 64GB version when it becomes available at these retailers by July 17th.
The Galaxy C7 also sports an all metal body but packs a larger 5.77inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 2GHz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. The other internals are pretty much the same as the Galaxy C5 with the same 16MP/8MP main/front camera combination, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal memory options, dual SIM support, fingerprint sensor, 3300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
The Samsung Galaxy C7 also comes in Gold, Pink Gold, Silver and Grey colors and is priced at 2599 yuan (US$ 396 / Rs. 26,575) for the 32GB version and 2799 yuan (US$ 427 / Rs. 28,630) for the 64GB version.
