BlackBerry officially announces the BlackBerry DTEK 50, costs $299

BlackBerry has just announced the BlackBerry DTEK 50, its second Android smartphone. The midrange smartphone priced at $299 and is billed as be the world's most secure smartphone in the world.

The security and privacy focused BlackBerry DTEK 50 features full disk encryption, secure boot and a hardened Android OS to ensure that users are protected from malicious attacks and hacks.

The BlackBerry DTEK 50 is available for preorder today at ShopBlackberry in the US, Canada, UK, France, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands and Germany for $299 or £275.
