Galaxy J Max Phablet announced


Besides the Galaxy J2, Samsung also unveiled a 7 inch phablet device called the Galaxy J Max in India. The Galaxy J Max packs a large 4000mAh battery which is said to offer 9 hours of continuous usage. 

The Galaxy J Max packs a 7 inch WXGA (1280 x 800 pixels) TFT LCD display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quadcore processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage which is expandable via a microSD slot., a 8MP/2MP camera combo, Dual SIM capability, LTE,S Bike mode and an Ultra Data Saving mode powered by Opera Max. Samsung is also including a free Bluetooth headset in the box which comes handy considering how awkward it is to hold the Galaxy J Max to the ear.

The Galaxy J Max is available in a choice of Black and Gold colours and would retail for Rs. 13400 ($199). The Galaxy J Max would be available at stores and online and comes with six months worth of Double Data courtesy of Airtel.
